Open the ChatGPT(Codex)installation page in the Microsoft Store:Download Codex from the Microsoft StoreOn the page, click Download and follow the system prompts to complete the installation.
Follow the official TreeRouter guide to install CC Switch:CC Switch Installation GuideAfter installation, confirm that CC Switch opens normally. When you import the configuration later, your browser will attempt to open CC Switch.
Open the TreeRouter website and sign in:https://treerouter.com/After signing in, select Console > Token Management > Add Token.Enter the following information on the token creation page:
Name: Enter an easily recognizable name, such as Codex Token.
Token Group: Select the group you want to use with Codex. The screenshot uses the Gpt-codex group, which contains the Gpt-5.5 model.
Quota Settings: Set a quota based on your requirements. Leave the default settings if no quota restriction is needed.
Access Restrictions: Leave the default settings unless you have specific network access requirements.
After the token is created, the token list will appear.Find the token you just created. Open the Chat drop-down menu on the right side of that token's row, then select CC Switch.Complete the following steps in the configuration import window:

Select Codex as the application type.

Under Primary Model, select the model you want to use, such as gpt-5.5.

Click Open CC Switch.
After you click Open CC Switch, your browser may ask for permission to open an external application. Allow the browser to open CC Switch.
After CC Switch opens, it displays the provider configuration to be imported. Confirm that the application type, website URL, API endpoint, model, and other details are correct, then click Import.After the import succeeds, find the newly imported configuration in the CC Switch provider list, such as My Codex, and click Enable.After enabling it, click the Connectivity Test button on the right side of the configuration.If Connection Successful appears at the top of the page, the CC Switch configuration is working.
Open Codex Desktop, create or open a conversation, and send a test message.If the model responds normally, Codex Desktop has been configured successfully.
Make sure that CC Switch is installed and starts normally. If your browser blocks the request to open an external application, select the option that allows it to open CC Switch.
Make sure that the imported Codex configuration is currently enabled in CC Switch, then run the Connectivity Test again. After the test succeeds, return to Codex Desktop and send the message again.
